At the Dapper Dog Daycare in Eliot, your furry loved ones get to enjoy the company of other dogs as well as their human caretakers.  This group setting provides your dog with physical and mental stimulation, making them happier and healthier.

We are a crate-free facility with two large yards, where we are able to separate the dogs by energy level and play style in order to maximize the comfort and enjoyment for all. When the dogs aren’t busy running around outside, they can kick back and relax on one of the couches in our cozy, air conditioned indoor play area.

The Dapper Dog is a smaller doggie daycare which allows us to give lots of attention, belly rubs, and playtime to each of the dogs in our care.  We pride ourselves on sending home each pup happy and tired.  We do provide lots of toys for the dogs to play with so it is very important that the dogs who attend our daycare are not toy aggressive and can play well with others.

We require that your dog is up to date on vaccines. distemper, rabies, kennel cough and is on a flea/tick prevention. Please bring a copy of vaccines on your first visit.  All male dogs must be neutered by 6 months of age. Female dogs may remain unspayed, but must not attend daycare when in heat.  Please call to schedule your first visit.

Hi friends! I am the co-owner of The Dapper Dog, along with my mother, Lori. I grew up in South Berwick and am a graduate of Marshwood High School. I recently took over after the Dapper Dog after being the manger for five years, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us! I have a passion for all animals, with dogs being the greatest one by far. Dogs have been a part of my life since I was little, from agility to hunt test and a shoulder to lean on, truly man’s best friend. At the Dapper Dog I can assure you that each one of our “kids” are safe, happy and getting plenty of attention!

I am the co-owner of The Dapper Dog and have been working with dogs for over 25 years, the majority of that time I spent as a groomer.

Dogs are one of the greatest passions of my life and I feel so lucky to be able to spend my career doing something I truly love. Everyday is filled with so many silly and joyful moments watching the dogs in my care interact with each other and my staff.  The happiness and safety of all the dogs at my daycare is of the utmost importance to my staff and myself.

I have 4 Labs and 6 cats, needless to say, I love animals!
